Where Will You Use Your Scuba Diving Gear?

The scuba diving gear can be used for anywhere, such as diving mask and fins can work in all environments. the different to use is only that some equipment are not necessary for some diving environment, such as sometimes wetsuit is enough as the water temperature is not so low, sometimes drysuit is necessary as the temperature is so low or it is for long-term underwater workers. Therefore, this mainly depends on the water temperature and quality.

What Type of Professional Scuba Equipment?

Professional diving is totally different to normal recreational scuba diving. Taking part in professional diving requires additional experience, training and special tech equipment. In recreational diving, you use one scuba tank, but professional divers often wear twin cylinders, or closed-circuit rebreathers (CCRs), plus one or more additional tanks, each containing a different gas mixture. They usually have two or more completely independent regulators and dive computers, as well as other dive gear backup. Here is what a typical professional diver might use below:

1) Drysuit, semi-drysuit

2) Main mask and backup mask;

3) Adjustable fins / flippers

4) Wing-typed BCD and harness with a backup gas bladder mounts between the harness and cylinder.

5) Main regulator and backup regulator

6) Twin cylinders, decompression cylinders / stage bottles

7) Multi gas dive computers and submersible pressure gauge (SPG)

8) Other equipment - Compass, slate, delayed surface marker buoy (DSMB), emergency signaling devices, backup dive tables, Z-knife, shears, safety reel, and lift bag…....
